Class Experience

Enrichment Coordinator
An Academic Enrichment Coordinator is someone who helps your family stay on track with school. Along with your child’s tutor, this person talks with teachers, keeps up with homework, quizzes, tests, projects, and important dates, and makes sure nothing gets missed. They send parents updates each week to show how the student is doing in class, what is getting better, and what still needs more practice. This extra support helps students stay organized, feel prepared, and do their best in school.

Mathematics
4.0 Labs’ Mathematics tutoring supports students in grades 2-12 with clear instruction, steady skill-building, and confidence that carries into the classroom. Each session lasts one hour and follows a structured format that helps students learn new concepts, practice with support, and leave with a clear understanding of what to do next. Students work on the math that matches their grade level and current needs, whether that includes foundational number sense, fractions and decimals, pre-algebra, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, or advanced topics.

Students are seated with their assigned grade level, and grade levels are not taught together. This structure keeps lessons age-appropriate and ensures that pacing, examples, and problem types match what students are expected to learn in school. It also allows students to participate comfortably and build confidence alongside peers at the same level.

Mathematics sessions are taught by certified teachers who know how to explain concepts in more than one way. Instructors check for understanding throughout the lesson, correct misconceptions early, and teach strategies students can use on their own. Parents can expect focused instruction, consistent practice, and a supportive learning environment that helps students improve accuracy, reasoning, and problem-solving skills over time.

Applied Learning Project
Each student completes an applied learning project that fits their grade level and strengthens real problem-solving. The project helps students use math in practical situations, not just on worksheets. Younger students may build a “math in real life” mini-project that involves budgeting with play money, measuring and scaling a recipe, or tracking simple data. Middle and high school students may complete a multi-step project such as planning a budget, analyzing a dataset, modeling growth with functions, using geometry in design, or solving a real-world scenario that requires algebraic reasoning.

Students learn how to show their work clearly and explain their thinking. They practice breaking down a problem, choosing the right method, checking answers, and revising when something does not work. By the end of the project, students have a finished product they can share and a stronger set of habits for approaching math with confidence and structure.
