Introduction to Artificial Intelligence (AI)
4.0 Labs’ Introduction to Artificial Intelligence (AI) gives students in grades 2–12 a clear, age-appropriate foundation in how AI works and how people use it every day. Each tutoring session lasts one hour and includes direct instruction, guided practice, and hands-on activities so students learn concepts and apply them immediately.

Students are placed with their assigned grade level, and grade levels are not taught together. This structure allows instruction, examples, and pacing to match what students can realistically understand and use. Younger students learn through simple language, visuals, and guided activities, while older students work with more advanced concepts and real-world applications.

AI sessions are taught by experienced AI professionals who know how to explain complex ideas in a way students can understand. Instructors adjust the pace based on student progress and provide clear takeaways each session. Parents can expect a structured learning experience that builds confidence, supports responsible use of AI tools, and strengthens skills students can use in school.

Applied Learning Project
Each student completes an applied project that fits their grade level and learning goals. Projects are designed to help students show what they learned in a practical way, not just talk about the concepts. Younger students may build a simple “AI helper” using guided prompts and examples, then explain why the tool gave certain results. Older students may create a more advanced project such as a study assistant, a writing partner, a basic chatbot, or a beginner-friendly classifier using age-appropriate tools.

Students learn how to plan, test, and improve their work over time. They practice writing clear prompts, checking results for accuracy, and using AI responsibly. By the end of the program, students leave with a completed project they can demonstrate, along with a stronger understanding of how to learn and use AI with confidence.
